In the unforgiving environment of Tau Ceti IV, players take on the role of cybernetic Runners, elite mercenaries engineered for survival. As either solo operatives or part of a 3-player crew, they embark on perilous extraction missions to uncover ancient alien relics, coveted loot, and high-tech arsenal upgrades, all while unraveling the secrets of the long-lost Tau Ceti colony.
