Microsoft Mahjong

Microsoft Mahjong is a digital version of the popular tile-based game mahjong solitaire, developed and published by Microsoft. The original version, initially titled Taipei, was included in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack and featured a vast array of possible game configurations. Over the years, the game underwent name changes, with it being known as Shanghai Solitaire in Windows Vista build 5219 and later as Mahjong Titans in Windows Vista and Windows 7. This version showcased an improved graphical interface and offered customizable tile sets and backgrounds. However, it was not included in Windows 8. Microsoft later released a standalone version, developed by Arkadium, which can be downloaded for free from the Windows Store, allowing users to enjoy the classic game on their Windows devices.
